Pinterest is moving up in the ranks as a huge referral source. Though this infographic focuses on retail, it may be time to consider how your business can benefit from the social platform.

Chinese Pinterest (markpic.com) + Google Translate is endlessly fascinating (via cacioppo)
Wow. Somehow Chinese Pinterest is more even more wedding obsessed then the real thing!!! There’s also a lot of travel imagery, and more T&A than i would have expected (there’s not that much, but it’s definitely there). I am a little bummed that there isn’t as much of the baby crap that dominates real Pinterest, because it would be neat to see the aspirational lifestyle for toddlers in China looks like these days.
Check out this sweet Lettuce Umbrella!!!

You’re going to LOVE The Fancy.

It was only a matter of time before websites similar to the increasingly popular Pinterest started to pop up out of the woodwork. The Fancy describes itself as “part store, blog, magazine and wishlist,” and it’s the store piece that’s really differentiating the platform from its competitor. The site allows you to “Fancy” anything you see on the Web so you can return to it at a later time.

phoebe connelly: In defense of Pinterest →
I don’t use Pinterest. I will even admit to having mocked it when I first learned about the service. But, Internet, we need to lay off the service. It’s not Tumblr. It’s not Delicious (or, my preferred, Pinboard). It’s a visual bookmarking service that values content that can be presented via the…
